An Olets fitting is a branching connection that uses 45 and 90 degrees to integrally reinforce the branch connection. A Nipolet is a single-piece fitting that is used for valve take-offs, venting, and drains. These fittings are produced possessing higher strength and are seen in extra strong applications. The Nipolet Fitting is welded directly on the run pipe and can be manufactured following socket weld or threaded outlets on the side of the branch pipe. A Weldolet Nipolet is primarily a weldolet that is affixed by attaching it to the interior of the olet. The nipolets are considered socket fitting due to the way they can be connected to the system. The ASTM A105 Nipolet is forged steel that is seen in different pressure systems across ambient or high-temperature setups. The Plain End Nipolet is usually welded on both sides and is available in lengths between 3 ½ to 6 ½ inches. They are available in schedules up to XXS sizes. A Flanged Nipolet is used in combination with a weld neck flange. These fittings possess superior strength and are common in high-pressure and temperature setups.
