Branch connections are olets that are designed with forged material that make a 45 or 90 degrees turn to reinforce the connections. A Sweepolet is a contoured and integrally reinforced branch buttweld fittings that are used for lower stress and fatigue services. The attachment weld of the WeldoletSweepolet can be checked using radiography and ultrasound technique or other non-destructive methods. They act as an alternative to an existing tee and are very flexible, allowing it to be used across harsh conditions. The 45 Degree Sweepolet requires lower material to produce compared to a tee, giving it a competitive price in the industry. The Sweepolet Dimensions are designed in nominal sizes between ½ NB to 24 NB. These grades are produced in class 3000 LBS, 6000 LBS, and other schedules.
